DESCRIPTION:

A truly multi-sensory experience was created that included light, sound and facial recognition, alongside a tactile interface. We modelled a 6-metre diameter multifaceted globe which represented the core of Sensei, Adobe’s artificial intelligence framework, upon which content was displayed using 16 projectors.

Such content was reflected on the accompanying LED floor, light rods, eight perimeter screens and 32 sponsor video walls, creating a dynamic and immersive experience.

DETAIL:

I was asked to look at the design of a simple yet effective physical form that could be manufactured and assembled on site quickly.

The shape came from manipulating the shape and scale of the Truncated Icosahedron through physical and CAD models into something that could be assembled with minimal weight and practically 3D mapped onto.

I drew on past experiences using hot-wire CNC polystyrene sculptures which meant minimal post production work and pushed cost down.
