DESCRIPTION:

Using multi-touch 4K screens as canvases, we built editions of artworks that encouraged interaction from the observer through 3D sensors, touch screens, GSM units, scene selections, and audio.

Mickey & Minnie (2018) - are a witty diptych reinterpretation of the iconic duo.

Bloomed Wall (2017) - is a play on the nature of classical Dutch master still life.

Deserted (2016) - interrogates what lies below the study of the world’s deserts.

Flutter Wall (2015) - gives you the opportunity to touch the Butterflies without causing harm.

Jungled (2014) - is a playful environment that reveals previously hidden details.

Conductor (2015) - seeks to engage through sound and gesture.

Four States 4k (2014) - is conceived through our relationship with states of matter.

DETAIL:

A thread throughout is how the pieces evolve, discussing direction and relationship early and later moving onto process whilst negotiating off the shelf components with bespoke product integration.

I would look at heat, airflow, colour, and structure through testing, prototyping and modelling, working closely with software colleagues.

When finalised start CNC, 3D printing, wiring, cable managing, painting, and assembly.

For installation I would work with contractors and collectors on composition and specific needs and finally test and calibrate the pieces.

I would install the artwork across multiple countries, often independently with remote support. Planning and packing of essential tools and spares would be decided weeks in advance for shipment.
