DESCRIPTION:

Deep Blue is an interactive video canvas in which advanced interactive graphics create a highly engaging visual artwork.

Offering a vibrant and detailed view into a virtual aquarium, the interactive aquarium plays on the joyful fantasy of visiting an aquarium where all the marine life – from the smallest clownfish to the largest whale sharks – all respond playfully with the viewer.

DETAIL:

Using both traditional and digital processes, housing was cut and painted, PCB’s were soldered by hand with power / data run throughout. Back panels were CNC and electronics housed in custom 3D prints.

I would meet the collector on site to discuss composition then liaise with builders concerning installation including drawings, process, and location options.

I would be on site for installation either working with a team, colleagues or independently unpacking crates, pulling cables through walls, troubleshooting, and hanging the piece with help of a 1:1 plotted template I’d prepared beforehand from the originally CAD files.
